Several additional HQ photos from events Rosamund attended in the spring and summer of 2015 have been added to our gallery. Enjoy!

I was able to add tons of photos of Rosamund during the 18th Annual Shanghai Film Festival from last week. I was even able to replace most tagged photos with untagged HQ versions. Once again a massive thanks to my friend Nicole, who is the webmaster of Adoring Emilia Clarke for donating many of the photos.

Rosamund attended several events during the 18th Shanghai International Film Festival last week, including a premiere and press conference for “Gone Girl”. Photos of her during the three events she attended (including the closing ceremony) have been added to our gallery. Most photos are unfortunately tagged but I was able to add some HQ photos of Rosamund during the press conference thanks to my friend Nicole, who is the webmaster of Adoring Emilia Clarke. Enjoy the photos and hopefully I’ll be able to add more untagged photos soon!

Scans from Rosamund in the third issue of tn2, that came out last year, have been added to our gallery thanks to Claudia, who is the webmaster of The McDonnell Rule. Outtakes from the photoshoot have been added as well.

Last night were the Empire Awards and Rosamund won the award for Best Actress for her work in “Gone Girl”. Unfortunately Rosamund was unable to attend the show but a video message was played of her accepting the award. Two photos from the video during the show have been added to our gallery.

Poor Rosamund Pike.

Her win at last night’s Empire Awards proved to be bitter sweet as she was unable to collect her prize in person.

The 36-year-old actress received countless nominations for her portrayal of Amy Dunne in Gone Girl including at the Academy Awards, Screen Actors Guild, Golden Globes and BAFTAs, but each time walked away empty handed.

The Brit star’s luck finally changed however, when she was named best actress at the Empire Awards 2015.

Appearing via a video link show at last night’s ceremony in London, she said: ‘I cannot believe that the one time I can’t attend an award ceremony is the one time I win.

Adding: ‘I’ve become so accomplished at losing I have no idea what to say now I’ve won.’

Sure, movie posters may proclaim all the time that they’ve got the “best” or “most thrilling” thing you’ve ever seen. But when a real F.B.I. agent calls someone “one of the most disturbing female villains in movie history” and a “cold, calculating psychopath,” you pay attention. Congratulations, Gone Girl’s Amy Dunne—even the professionals are terrified of you.

In this video, part of the ongoing VF Confidential Presents: Psych of a Psycho, F.B.I. agent Candice Delong goes over Amy Dunne’s (Rosamund Pike) many, many crimes, and speculates it might all be a result of Munchausen syndrome, not simply sheer, cold villainy. It’s crammed full of spoilers for Gone Girl—brace yourself for blood!—but after it was a joke at the Oscars, aren’t we past that point? And more importantly, isn’t Amy Dunne fascinating enough to merit lots and lots of discussion, out in the open?

For more about some of the fascinating crime stories that have filled the pages of this magazine over the years, watch Vanity Fair Confidential on Investigation Discovery, Mondays at nine P.M.
